01 — Approach
My painting is born of an inner necessity.
It exists where words come to an end.
In a space where emotion, the body and matter resonate with one another.
Matter
To me, matter is the essence of the living.
Paint, pigments, coatings and minerals are not mere materials, but presences with which I enter into dialogue. They resist, transform and sometimes impose their own rhythm. My work is to listen to these reactions and accompany their mutations rather than constrain them.
Gesture
Gesture is central to my practice.
It is neither premeditated nor decorative. It rises from an inner impulse and a physical, sensitive relationship with the surface. Each mark retains the memory of a passage; each layer inscribes time. I seek a fragile balance between mastery and surrender, intention and letting go.
Lyrical abstraction
My painting belongs to a contemporary lyrical abstraction in which matter becomes language.
It does not narrate; it suggests. It invites an open sensory experience in which everyone may project their own interpretation.
For me, painting is an act of transformation:
of matter, of the gaze, and perhaps, more quietly, of being.

The work takes shape patiently in the studio, layer after layer, to the rhythm of its reactions. Time is an essential agent in the process.
Paint, pigments and mineral materials are not merely applied: they remain in tension until the surface finds its own balance.
These transmutations welcome accident and reveal traces that the gesture accompanies without closing them off.

Journey
In my first professional life, art began as a collector’s passion. Through art therapy it then became a place of reconstruction and a language. Discovered at the end of 2024, I chose to turn this inner necessity into a professional artistic practice—embodied, committed and open to sharing.
